How about black lesbian / lesbian audiobooks..?
Check out the minion series by L. A. Banks it's awesome
I'm a fellow vampire fan so The Gilda Stories jumped onto my TBR immediately! Scars sounds interesting – I'm wary but curious to see how it turns out.
Oh seriously though, you might be dangerous for me! These all sound amazing!!!
Great haul! The Gildea Stories sounds amazing. I can't wait to hear your thoughts.
I'm excited to see what you think of The Gilda Stories! It's one of my favourite books. Jewelle Gomez does such interesting things with the vampire story, especially exploring how an immortal black lesbian would have a long view of the history of racism, sexism, and homophobia. Super interesting.
I'm very interested in your review of Scars. I haven't heard anything about it and I agree it sounds interesting. The only thing holding me back from buying is the fact that the author is straight.
Black vampire lesbians added to my reading list for 2018. I might use some of these books in my workshops. Thank you Njeri.
I need all of those books! I love that you highlight books that almost no one talks about on YouTube! I hope speculative fiction gains more traction on black Booktube someday.
