About the author
Jimmie W Harp Jr is an aspiring author, but an engineer and filmmaker by trade. His hobbies include boardgames, building bullwhips, studying the Japanese language, and singing at karaoke with his pals.
He has created numerous television shows, as well as produced various others. Recently he found moderate success with an online boardgame review series, an endeavor that also spawned an accompanying podcast.
Beginning in 2003, he has travelled to Japan numerous times, and on a few occasions lived there for extended periods.
Jimmie currently lives in Oregon with his wife – a Japanese native – and their dogs Shiro and Miso.
