In Midlife, No Manual, Anita Vangani provides an empowering guide to navigating the exhilarating and challenging transition of midlife with confidence, resilience, and a touch of modern innovation. From redefining your identity to leveraging new technologies, this book offers practical strategies to reinvent yourself with grit, grace, and a little help from AI.

Drawing from her own journey, Anita explores:

  • Embracing change and creating new possibilities after 40
  • Leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance personal and professional growth
  • Finding purpose and balance in relationships, health, and career
  • Building resilience and mental clarity as you face the unknown

I posed my Author questionnaire to Anita and these were her answers.

  1. What inspired you to write this particular book? What was the spark or catalyst that got the or idea flowing?
My struggles with my own life, health, work and the things that I felt I owned before were becoming increasingly difficult to resonate with.
  2. Can you talk about a significant challenge you faced during the writing process and how you overcame it.
At first I started writing the book with an intention of it being a journal of my own life, trying to source inspiration to just keep going but then I realized that even if I had courage to keep going I would still be stuck again in a few years with how much the world was changing around me and how I envisioned my life in my 40-50’s while I was still in my 20’s , so I felt I am already that deep in so I should take advantage of this and try to spring out of the hole rather than crawl out from it, here the idea of learning AI and reinventing myself came about.
  3. What do you hope readers will take away from your book, and what kind of discussion or impact do you envision it having?
A new horizon to look towards in their midlife journey.
  4. How did your research (if applicable) shape the or character development? Did you discover anything unexpected or fascinating during your research?
Life experience is still of immense value.
  5. What’s next for you? Are you working on any new projects, and if so, can you give us a sneak peek?
My upcoming book- confident compass : helping parents guide their teens to confident adulthood
  6. Where can readers find your book?
Midlife, No Manual is available for sale on Amazon.

There you have it. Whether you’re seeking a career pivot, redefined relationships, or personal growth, Midlife, No Manual is the perfect companion to help you thrive through the midlife transition and beyond. It’s time to stop surviving and start thriving.
