I read Binti annd Binti: Home by Nnedi Okorafor – truly superb and refreshingly unique thanks to the Nigerian folklore woven into her exciting futuristic world-building – uniquely compelling work of the scope and caliber of Liu Cixin and Yoon Ha Lee, a Korean-Texan transman and his stunning Machineries of Empire triilogy. I look forward to reading the third book of the Binti trilogy and more of Okorafor's work. I'm glad to see that SF has become so diverse. Another outstanding Afro-American author is grand master SF author Samuel Delaney (who is gay) who started in the Sixties as an 18-year old prodigy and whose work has influenced the course of SF since. Glad to have found your channel! I've duly subscribed! A film adaptation of ANY of Okorafor's works involving brilliant Afro-futurist Janelle Monaé would be terrific!
