Black authors just write so differently and it hits people of colour just perfectly! The romance, the tension and don't forget the culture. I am not black but I am POC but i relate to every book of Elizabeth Acevedo because Mexican and Latino culture is very similar to Indian.

I own By the Book! It was okay, but couldn't hold my attention for long.
