Hey I love your channel and I wanted to know if you knew which novels of Samuel Delany do feature black characters and also have you read books by Charles Saunders and if so; how are they?

Romantic is such a good word for Delany's writing style– he heightens sensory experience and emotions.

Enjoyed your video. Henry Dumas is another writer you might want to check out: https://catapult.co/stories/jonoah-and-the-green-stone-a-novel-by-henry-dumas

Dhalgren is such an incredible book. My favorite Delany and very high up there on my all time favorite list. I've actually mentioned Dhalgren in a couple of my videos. 🙂

I think I have this trilogy in a single bound paperback stored in a suitcase full of books. I'm going to check this weekend. It's in my TBR list of Delany to still read and just listening to that first page brings vividly back to my mind how much I love his writing.

I had the pleasure of attending Samuel R. Delany's presentation at Glad Day Bookstore, Toronto in 2016 with you as the interviewer. It was wonderful to listen to your conversation with Samuel. You were, and are, so insightful and  engaging. I love your description of his writing as "it is like quick sand and you sink into his world and you are kinda just there…" Keep publishing and reviewing.
